Crime Stoppers USVI www.crimestoppersusvi.org/Crime Stoppers is an organization of community volunteers. They take calls from people who have information to report about a crime, but do not want to give their name. The Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS phone line allows citizens to assist in getting criminals arrested, stolen property recovered, drugs and guns off the streets, without ever having to identify themselves or testify in court.

St. John Animal Care Center www.stjohnanimalcarecenter.com/The Animal Care Center (ACC) of St. John is located in Cruz Bay, near the library. The ACC addresses the problems of cruelty to, neglect and abuse of the island animals. The shelter provides kennels for homeless dogs and inside cages for a limited number of homeless cats. The ACC has volunteers across St John who establish and maintain feral cat feeding stations. The ACC conducts three major fundraisers each year beginning with Wagapalooza in May, a "No Fleas Please" Flea Market in October and a gala Christmas For The Animals in December.

St. John Dial-A-Ride – A transportation service for the senior and disabled community of St. John and the island’s visitors. Our primary source of funding is through the Virgin Islands Legislative Funds managed by the Department of Human Services, and a United Way grant. Fares and individual contributions are also needed to fund this program.
Help Recycle! Call 693-9410
Adopt-A-BIn and help residents recycle aluminum cans across the island. SJCF partners with the Resource, Conservation and Development Council (RC&D), the Recycling Association of the Virgin Islands (RAVI) and Storage on Site for the purpose of recycling aluminum cans. The Foundation, also in cooperation with RAVI is working on the plans for glass and other recycling on St. John. This highly successful program will continue for many years to come with continued help of dedicated volunteers.
