It Takes A Village

The Villagers of the St. John Community are our youth, adults, elders, business owners, socio-political activists government officials, … anyone who cares about the Youth of St. John.

 

The youth of the island need to know that they are loved and supported by the St. John village. This is the time for empowerment, social activism, and the end of mediocrity and apathy. The new dawn is here!

Dial-A-Ride @ 643-7335

St. John Dial-A-Ride – A transportation service for the senior and disabled community of St. John and the island’s visitors. Our primary source of funding is through the Virgin Islands Legislative Funds managed by the Department of Human Services, and a United Way grant. Fares and individual contributions are also needed to fund this program.

Help Recycle! Call 693-9410

Adopt-A-BIn and help residents recycle aluminum cans across the island. SJCF partners with the Resource, Conservation and Development Council (RC&D), the Recycling Association of the Virgin Islands (RAVI) and Storage on Site for the purpose of recycling aluminum cans. The Foundation, also in cooperation with RAVI is working on the plans for glass and other recycling on St. John. This highly successful program will continue for many years to come with continued help of dedicated volunteers.
